beer stein's?

This glass was a gift from a Hungarian Lady I dated in the late 90's.

I can tell from the mold lines, pontle mark, air bubbles and impurity's in the glass, wear to the bottom and the leaded top, it's at least 60 years old. What I can't find is any information on the maker or company which had it made.

The lid reads; Pilsner over Burger-Brau then RUDOLPH OELSNER, NEW YORK.

Any information would be helpful.

Happy mazing,

Anthony

Thank's Mu,

The first artical helped quite a bit. If the information is correct the stein predates 1918, and burger brau was imported to the U.S. during the 19th century.

The stein center link was of help as well.

Thank's again,

Anthony
