On 1/23 I bottled 15 bottles of Vintners Reserve sherry (cream style). I used T-corks to close, as many of the bottles I used are old sherry and Maudite beer bottles. I let the bottles sit standing for 6 days before turning them on their side.
Four bottles - two wine bottles, two sherry bottles - are now leaking a very sweet, very concentrated sherry syrup. Only a drop or two is coming from each bottle. I sat those bottles straight up right away - any ideas about how I can stop them from leaking? Should I recork with new corks?
Thanks!
