I'm working on filtering out some of the scum in my more recent melomel. It's using oranges so there's alot of misc junk floating around. Was curious on your guys opinions on filtering and the best ways to do it. I've gotten by just wrapping a piece of cheese cloth over my siphon tube (held on by a sanitized hair tie), but was curious if there was a way that didn't clog up as easily.

I use a new, sanatized, copper scrubber (I think Kurly Kate might be a brand in the states?) attached with a sanatized elastic. My blackberry mead didnt clog it at all. :)
