Just bottled my first three batches. A dry mead (FG 1.002), a sweet mead (FG 1.025) and a semi-sweet cyser. I'm surprisingly pleased with the results. All taste very young (obviously, and especially the dry mead), but quite drinkable. I was expecting disaster for my first attempt. Suppose now I'll have to polish off the three half-bottles I have to celebrate. Think I'm going to enjoy this new hobby.

(just hope all the bottles I'm planning to take in checked luggage on Thursday are going to survive the trip...)
