Four weeks ago, the must was;
O.G. - 1.116,
P.A. - 15.5
S.W. - 29
Today;
S.G - 1.036
P.A. - 5.6
S.W. - 12.
I want to add pomegranate juice (two quarts) to about 2 gallons of the must and leave the rest to finish as is. Thought I would rack the mead into two, three gallon carboy's. Fill one and leave it alone, add the juice to the ballance in the other.
Should I wait a day or two after racking to add the juice?
What effect will adding juice to the mead at this point have?
