Does any one have a recipie for Ginger Beer? I'd like to try making one, preferably with a low alcohol content.

Per liter:

30 g ginger
1/4 oz raisins
1/2 cup sugar (or 3/4 cup honey)
bread yeast

Heat water, add ginger and raisins. Puree and dissolve sugar. Pour into a sterile jug and pitch yeast. After a week, or when fermentation slows almost to a halt, strain off ginger and bottle with a little priming sugar. It'll need at least a month to age, longer if you use honey. Use 1/4 cup or less of sugar if you want lower alcohol (2% with 1/4, 4% with 1/2).

If you want a more "beery" flavor, sub in pale malt LME for sugar, keeping the same OG.
