Good sweet mead question

We would like to try a good sweet mead.

Can the experts here provide us with the name of a
GOOD :help: sweet mead that can be shipped to Virginia.

This would be in part to help education us on what the
experts here think is good.

Tastes will vary according to different people.

For my part I like the Mountain Meadows Meadery Traditional Sweet Mead, and the Elsa Winery (here in the City of Orange, CA) Mild Sweet Mead. Rabbit's Foot is a nice one as well. There are plenty of others out there too like Pirtle, Long Island Meadery, etc.

Did you take a look at the mead reviews in the main website? Go to Commercial Mead and click Mead Reviews.

I have a taste for sweet meads as well. It is a personal taste. I think that there can be sweet and even sweeter as a sac or desert mead. I have tried Sky River Meadery's Sweet Mead from Washington State and also Honeywood's Mead from Salem Oregon :icon_thumleft:. If you do an Internet search on them, you should find them w/o trouble. Disclaimer: I am not trolling nor do I work for a Commercial Meadery.

Not sure what your tastes are, but you might want to do a search on Ratebeer.com for meads http://ratebeer.com/Search.asp

There's definitely a bias towards sweet meads there, so the reviews of the top rated ones might be helpful. You can also check availability by state.
