Ok, we have put together the First annual MeadFest in Boston on May 19th from 7-10pm.

We will have all the Meadmakers from B.Nektar, Moonlight Meadery, Green River Ambrosia and Isaaks of Salem on the docket. We'll be pouring free tastes of the mead, talking mead, and have a GREAT FRICKING TIME!

What we need for the event is a small promotional poster. We have artwork being collected now from all the Meaderies mentioned above, but what we don't have is anyone to design the thing. As far as I know, we all don't have a designer "on-staff" to do this kind of work, so I am reaching out to the community.

So! If anyone wants to put together a poster for the First Annual MeadFest at Sunset in Boston MA I will send them 2 free bottles of Isaaks of Salem Mead as a thank you.

This is a way to become part of the mead 'industry' without much time (relative to making commercial mead ;)) and you get to be part of the best part of the business. Promoting MEAD!

My wife actually has an AA in Graphic Design. I might be able to talk her into it (Since she doesn't get to use her degree in her current line of work)

Only problem it's not in computer desgin, it'd be hand-drawn artwork, not sure if that's your thing.

A deal is a deal...

Nice...the learning around here never stops...and I will be sure to put your two bottles on reserve.

On the poster front, I am sure your in-house design team will want to do something better than me, but so far I have the following. Feel free to change everything (and I have the psd if you want the layers).

I'll give you a call today to ensure you have everything I have Brad. Mostly I scraped it all off the web, but this event needs a great poster and a great social media buzz to get people hyped!

Ian

My attempt...laugh it's ok.....I am comfortable with it by now.

Sounds good. As long as we have high quality artwork (preferably vector files if available) then we'll be good.
