Finished putting up the annual Halloween porch decorations today. This was daughter Rachel's idea some years back -- mead drinking spiders sharing a toast! How she talked her mother (now my ex), who has a serious spider phobia, into buying these two spiders for her is beyond me.

I wish my place was better suited to Hallowe'en decorations. I like the colour-changey LED lit skulls... I hang one in the car :) Maybe this year I'll sit it on top of my breastplate in the driver's seat and somehow rig my arming to stay up and my gauntlet to hold my mead horn. Which won't matter because it'll be well hidden behind my neighbour's HUGE truck anyway. <sigh>
