Woke up this morning (OK 10:20, but before Noon!!), first message I look at is this one, almost spit my tea on the laptop. So then I just had to share so sent a nice little spam to some friends.... I think they will like!!! Esp. my friend in the brewery downtown right now...

Damn! you colonials need to get the lingo right. Patty is a womans name. The day was St Patricks day - the Irish/Erse of which would be Podraig and the familial would be "Paddy's day", or even just Paddy's........

My hubby and I do maintenance work and at 3 am we were putting out the garbage when one of the tenants toddled home past us... "Hey, how's it going?" "It's 3 AM on St. Paddy's. I'm surprised I can still walk."
I think he was in the "I love you guys!" stage of drunk, he invited us in for some shots and then complained that we were making him drink alone then went on about how he was gonna tell our boss (his landlord) how we took such good care of him...
