I've attended several SCA events, and plan to be at the second week of Pennsic this year, but as yet haven't put in my membership, mainly because I haven't got my character developed yet.

But, even so, I'm *very* interested in starting up the brewing ladder in my area, with an eye toward competing eventually in SCA A&S events.

Does anyone know how I get started? I can already make mead, of course, but who do I contact to make my petition to get apprenticed in the SCA?

Vicky - getting motivated and making mead mods on existing batches, and planning to pitch a couple more on July 4th

As for the character, or persona part. I'm a herald in little part of the known world. I can help you with that part, or point you in the right direction.
