Hydrometer Correction Question

I just racked to secondary and the hydrometer reading was 1.010 at 22.5C. Using on online hydrometer correction calculator (http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/brew/widgets/hc.html) I get a corrected gravity of 1010.5. I double checked a hydrometer correction chart (http://www.brsquared.org/wine/CalcInfo/HydSugAl.htm) which said that the correction should be 0.5. So how should I note this in my brew log . . . 1.010, 1.0105, 1.010.5, 1.015, or something else entirely? ???

A correction of 0.5 is in terms of "gravity points", read as 1 gravity point = 0.001 SG. So a correction of 0.5 would give you 1.0105, same as the first correction calculation.

You can round it up to 1.011 if you want, or leave it 1.0105. Hardly matters at that point, the error in the hydrometer has to be at least 0.5 unless it's a narrow range model. (heck, my narrow range one is off by 3, but I just add it on to whatever it says.)
 
I checked my mead and its corrected gravity was 1.0113.

I checked the “Target Gravity” box in the “Mead Calculator”, entered this gravity and and got a reading of 4.086° Brix. I then entered the gravity into the SG/Plato calculator at http://hbd.org/cgi-bin/recipator/brew/widgets/sg.html and it said that my mead is 2.89° Plato. I’ve been reading that Brix & Plato are interchangeable so why the difference? Which is the correct % sugar by weight of my mead?
