In order to share my experiences (read headaches)in trying to open Isaaks of Salem LLC (a small 'winery' as uncle sam calls it) in Salem MA, I thought some might be interested here in what it takes to 'go-pro'.
In a state like MA, it can be very difficult, but not impossible to start a meadery. You just need money, time, and patience. Without all three you are sunk. I can not produce in my home, so that means I will be leasing a commercial space. Something that is very difficult to find in a price range that gives you any reasonable ROI. Luckily I have finally found something.
The blog will continue to cover my trials and tribulations, and I will try to keep the ranting down. Obviously sirens will be sounded when the first case ships, but that won't be for 15 mo+. I welcome anyone who wishes to follow the blog, add comments, bring suggestions, and help of any kind is most welcome.

ps. If anyone knows how to get blogger to publish 'into' your website page, let me know.
