I'm moving across the country and the movers won't take a compressed gas tank. So, if you're local or willing to swing by Oakland to pick it up, I might have a nice shiny cylinder for you. PM me for details.
 
They wont even take it if its empty? I would figure it would be worth it to empty it if so.
 
Well even "empty" they can still do damage if the temperature has changed and the top gets knocked off. Certainly less damage, but I don't think it's worth arguing over a $100 tank for our $5000 move. That and I'd not want to totally empty the tank since that can let air in, negating the worth of a CO2 cylinder.
