Joe gave me a bottle of this *2* MeadFests ago, and the half-drunk bottle has been hanging in the fridge corked since 2005.

I realized I had lost it in the fridge, and pulled it out, expecting it to be nasty, since it was half gone, and to my extreme pleasure, found it to be a smooth melding of orange and vanilla, with an orange start and *long* finish, with a strong vanilla note at the top of the palatte. Smooth and sweet, and not an off flavor to be found.

If Joe offers another bottle of this (or the recipe), I will *jump* on it........
