I kept a bottle of kiwi-flavored mead on my kitchen window sill. I was never particularly fond of it and used the bottle (a 750 ml) to hold the window curtain back when the wind blew.

Today, I went into the kitchen and found that the bottle had been knocked over. It fell onto a forty pound tub of dry dog food. The fall knocked the tub's lid loose as well as the bottle's cap. The mead poured from the bottle and into the tub.

The tub was full and now I have to throw out all this kibble.

Or do I?

Well, if you do feed the dog the soaked kibble, you may have a really happy dog... *grins*

Yeah, it sounds to me like the loss of 40 lbs of dog food is more tragic than the loss of one bottle of mead that you didn't like anyway.
