Greetings everyone!

I was just at my local homebrew store grabbing some last minute supplies for a spiced mead Im getting ready to start and they didnt have the yeast nutrient that I needed there. The guy there told me that I could use the yeast energizer I bought in lieu of the yeast nutrient and DAP that my recipe calls for. I was wondering, is this true? If so, how do I calculate how much to use?

He's a good guy, but he's a beer guy. He's still handing out a mead recipe that calls for boiling and irish moss. Go with the advice you get here.
