Whilst I wait for some of my meads to age to see how bad I did, I thought I'd wip out a bottle aging brew and after being given a Koningshoeven Quadruple Ale I think I've found what I want to make.  Unfortunately I don't see anywhere to buy a kit, or even a recipe for copycatting.  Anyone know where to point me?  Or do those Trappist monks sue anyone that copies them?

Edit-I've found Trappist kits, but nothing approaching 10% abv (highest I found was 6%). Please let me know if I should use one of these with a differant yeast or what.

Check out the number 8 at northern brewer. I just ran one of these out (it takes 2 month or longer) got about 9.5ABV tastes good now cant wait until it conditions some more.
Good luck
Steve
