I never considered Greensburg to be part of the "Laurel Highlands," (more like the industrial bottomland next door) but what the hey! Now I have another excuse to drive a little further east whenever I come back home for a visit! ;D

Yeah, it fits, kind of... I used to stop in Greensburg regularly when I worked in DC and headed home for an occasional weekend or holiday visit. Rt. 30 was far more interesting to drive than the Turnpike.
Ligonier is far more where I could see you setting up shop. Nice town, killer scenery right there, lots of tourista traffic to buy your meads, etc. ;D
Too bad the old "Noah's Ark" outside of Bedford isn't there any more -- that would have been an outstanding site for a meadery, IMHO.
"Home" is the south side of Youngstown, OH, BTW -- although now I've been gone for nearly twice the amount of time that I actually lived there.
