Licensing to Start a Meadery/Brewery?

So, just curios, what's the cost out the door to get licensed and permitted and all that?

The actual license/permits are the least expensive part of the whole thing.

Every situation/meadery is different. Its no different than, "How much does it cost to build a house?" think location, building materials, square footage, etc. This is just business planning 101. I'd recommend doing as much research as you can on the subject of the process, equipment, ingredients, packaging, etc. that you can and build from there. I've spent way more than many, but not as much as many others.

That's what I figured, it's the same as my other potential hobby (pyrotechnics, boy the BATFE would love me, all I'd need to do is open a shooting range and a tobacco farm...)

But I have people telling me that I should go pro...from tasting 2oz of remnants that were fresh from the racking o.o
