I'll be traveling to Delaware to visit my brother in the near future. A local apiary has some fresh lima bean blossom honey that is only coarse-strained to remove bee parts and large pieces of wax.
Upon googling, the only description of the honey that I could find is: "Lima bean yields a light honey that remains high in moisture content". I guess I'll have to give it a try when I get there.
Is anybody here familiar the the characteristics of this honey? Did it make a good traditional mead?
