This will be my first Mazer Cup, and I'm hoping to run in to some of the great minds in mead.

I can't wait!

I wish I could go; not this year though, but hopefully someday. This year I am going to submit an entry for the first time - a Tupelo Honey Traditional that I started in January 2013. It was the second batch of mead that I ever made and is tasting pretty good. I am really looking forward to getting some input from someone who knows what mead is and how it is supposed to taste.

I was gonna go, but alas, this is my 20h wedding anniversary year. Have you seen what the Mercer Hotel in Manhattan charges for a night? Jeesh. That will be my only splurge this year.

@mannye
A wedding anniversary is certainly a pass on not attending. Enjoy it!

I'm sending four entries for my first MC:

Clover Trad, Citrus Mel x2, and a braggot.

I have a blackcurrant/blueberry melomel, sparkling OB dry, and a wildflower semi-sweet. I didn't have anything ready last year so it should be fun! Looking forward to the feedback.

I live her only 30 minutes from the competition. I would love to meet you guys
