Mead Profit / Cost calculator per batch.

This is a spreadsheet that calculates the cost and profit from a commercial batch of mead.
I guess you could also input the cost of ingredients for wine, beer or cyder.
It has three pages for three different size bottles.
750ml
375ml
12oz

It calculates the final gallons and number of bottles.
It is great for daydreaming.
This spreadsheet only takes into account the ingredients and packaging.
Overhead is not taken into consideration, but you could add in in the Misc. fields.
I was not able to upload the file here, but here is a link where I made the same post and attached the file.

If you can think of any additions, or changes, let me know.
This may encourage you to start a commercial meadery

Nice. I downloaded it to play with it later when I'm NOT at work. :angel10:

I can see how this could turn into a great time-waster for day dreaming if not regulated carefully.
I may make up something like this myself to better guage the cost of some of my batches. It'd be pretty interesting to find out what I actually spend per bottle on some of my recipes.

Well, they won't let us vote for "None of the Above" in this "free" country so I opted for the Chaos Lord instead of either of them. I'll prolly change my avi back in the next week or so... ;)

::That being said, I already mailed in my ballot for the one who'll be screwing me the least.::
