I found this hiding in my corner liquor store. There's a Black Currant, Cherry, and Elderberry flavor as well. The owner of the store only located about two cases worth.
It was about 11.99
There are a handful of bottles left and if anyone in the local area is interested say so, so I can get you the address.
Nose--very cherry, not strongly of honey.
Nice start, it poured cleanly and very well. No sediment was in the bottle. It had mild legs and tasted as good as some of the Cherry melomels I had at Pennsic. It looks like it was sorbated and then backsweetened with which ever flavor juice that's on the bottle. My liquor store says he might be carrying it again depending on how well it sells.
Tthey are online at http://www.honeyrun.com
Image is of the (now empty) Cherry, and Elderberry.
I see that others have written reviews of their other ones, but no one has done Elderberry. Whenever that gets opened, I'll post a review.
