Superior Lakes located in Harrison township Michigan, has finally opened its retail/tasting room. We are a small winery started by 2 lifelong friends with a passion for making wines and meads. We started making mead over a year ago commercially and Begin selling it throughout Michigan in September. If you live in the Detroit area or are planning a future trip to Michigan stop on by and try some meads "we are also very friendly and love to talk about our craft" we are also repackaging our honeys as we always have people asking for some.

I just discovered the gotmead site and love how everybody seems to help one another, i hope i can have some tips and tricks to help some novice mead makers.

our tasting room is open:
Friday noon - 8pm
Saturday 10am - 8pm
Sunday noon - 6pm

i need to update our website with many things one of is our address (many things need updating when your a small business doing everything yourself :) )

My wife and I stopped in today and sampled their meads. As Tuumi said, great guys and great meads, we left the shop with 3 bottles. Congratulations on the business and good luck.

It was nice to meet both you guys and thanks for stopping in. Dont forget to check back from time to time to check out our ever expanding menu of meads or just to chat it up.
