About two weeks worth of Meadhall stuff is missing. The latest comic is from the 9th of this month, and it is displayed along with the drivel I always write below it. Since I don't save that stuff when I post a new toon, there must have been a backup performed, yes? Unfortunately, it wiped out the intervening week's toon as well. I'll repost it as part of the archive, since I have the NEW new toon ready to roll out tomorrow. I haven't been online much in the last two days, so it seems I missed a lot!

Okay, the problems were pretty easy to fix as it turned out, so I went ahead and posted up the latest Meadhall. Check it out, and let me know what you think!

Dude just want to congratulate you on this comic. I could never do this. I have started looking forward to it every fri evening. I almost posted last night wondering where it was heheh. Just didnt want to rush you. You cant rush greatness ya know. Just wanted to give credit where credit is due. I like the characters. I like the story line.
I was waiting every week trying to figure out how they were going to get the upper hand in the queenie fight. You came from clear out in left field with the cyborg involvement in that fight didnt expect that at all. Keep it up you have a great imagination and great determination to get this out every week with fresh ideas. I must say I'm impressed. Good job. ;D

Yeah, I've hit my Friday mark every week since I established it for myself (somewhere around Toon 18, I think) but only if you are in my timezone! A technicality, I know, but we do what we can...
I'll be increasing the cast of characters as the stories evolve, but Leo and Wendell are my alter egos in this examination of ambition, dreams, and self-motivation -- representing two sides of the same coin, as it were -- and things will more-or-less spin around them.

Have you approached Vicky about maybe doing a T-shirt print for the Gotmead Gear section? I would love to have one with the main characters at the Meadhall.

T-shirts and such were an idea early on, but I haven't pursued it much lately. With real-world issues pressing, I've had all I can do to get the toon out each week.
That being said, it wouldn't hurt to look into this again. I know there isn't much to getting Cafe Press merch put together, so maybe we'll see something after all...

Hey, Check This Out!
I've put one of Meadhall's archived toons into the Webcomics Battle, which is a site where you submit your comic for direct competition against another submitted comic that's been chosen at random. The best or funniest comic wins. When this happens, that toon goes on to the next day, and is again matched against a newly submitted comic. If it wins again, it keeps going and going, until it loses. Losing comics are retired, and bumped out of the competition (though they remain archived at the site, for reference purposes). Longtime champs gain the wreath of glory (which is to say, there are no prizes other than self-satisfaction). I think this is a great concept, and will be fun even if Meadhall loses right out of the gate. Some of the toons they get are lousy, but a few of them are really funny, and I expect to get creamed if/when I go up against them.
Click here to read today's contenders. You just have to go through one or two other battles to get to mine. Meadhall is paired against a funny one today, so weigh the two objectively, and then vote for Meadhall!
