No review as of yet. Just wanted to get the word out about this place. It is a Canadian meadry and beekeeping company. My beekeeping mentor has recently started doing buisness with them and has toured the whole place. He said he thought of me when he saw the meadry.
So hopefully I will be going to the meadry before the end of the summer. I will defenitly be asking for the tour, prolly have to set an appointment first. But this is the closest commercial meadry to me ( according to google almost 100 miles away). Have to do this before passports are required to get into Canada.
Anyways I have no idea where to buy there mead here although I guess I can buy some bottles and transport them over the border. No idea if they can ship internationally.

As an interesting side note to this. From what my mentor told me.
This company has been keeping bees for about 100 years and began to produce mead as a sideline to increase sales. They ended up having to educate the government about mead and were then told that they could only produce mead from honey they produced. I know that there is quite a wine industry in this part of Canada. It is also kind of strange to me becaus here in Michigan the wine industry has a stranglehold on the state government. It makes it difficult to get out of state wines and meads in here. The wine industry here also has much more liberal rules about how they can conduct buisness than how breweries can conduct buisness. To my knowledge the breweries here outnumber the wineires almost 10-1.
I will post a review as soon as I can get there. I guess it is only a half an hour over the border. Problem is where I know live it is almost an hour from the border crossing. Where as where I grew up it was only a half and hour
