I used to be in the SCA back in San Francisco. Now that I've moved I havent really done anything crafty or camping until we started brewing. It could be more fun now that I've got something to offer. Anybody else from Middlerealm around?

Hi Bellacrow,

I guess I'm from middlerealm (MI), but I haven't done too much reading on this whole SCA bit. I started to, then got sidetracked. If it has to do with getting together with others from the "realm" and talking mead, then it sounds like something fun to get involved with, or even organizing a group within the realm (I'm always looking for a reason to code up webpage!).

For current information on the Middle Kingdom try http://www.midrealm.org/

For a clickable map of your area go here http://www.dragonscaleconsort.com/cartography/
be sure to note your region and click on that area of the map. Then be sure to note the land area.

Then go here and click on the region for the list of contacts. http://www.midrealm.org/midrealm_findgroup.html

YOU MAY OR MAY NOT FIND ANY BREW GUILDS / BREWERS IN YOUR AREA... but if you're lucky you may become the defacto Brewmaster for your Barony or Shire if you join up with them, give lessons, share mead... ;D

Barony of Caer Anterth Mawr Honorable Guild of Brewers and Vintners

Thanks for all the info! I'll start checking it out.

Bella, who needs to be on the Boards more

House Darkyard is also pretty active in B+V activities. They are a Detroit household, but they have a great website that is open to everyone and has a good B+V section in the forums section (legiodraconis.com) Registration is free, so it's all good.

Welcome to the Middle! Hope to see you at the B+V table sometime!

Thanks ODB!!

I suspected it on Monday after the Campions shoot and then everyone wanted to make sure I was up at the Range retaining on Thurseday, so that made me more suspicious. Then the final straw was when someone said to thier Majesties right in front of me "The Household is here now." I may be clueless, but not that clueless!! LOL!! At least it kept me from making an ass out of myself like I normaly do! ;D
