I only think this question is strange because i see no one else asking it on forums i searched for a good while before i posted this time =]
Is there a way to kill the rest of your yeast? Thats right... I dont know if this is a dumb question nor do i think it is a good idea, but if so what would be a good reason to kill off your yeast??
Thanks

This is called stabilizing, try that in a search and you'll get piles of posts and threads.

People do this when they plan on bottling a mead that is still sweet, because otherwise it could start fermenting again later (even waaaay later) and blow up in a very dangerous explosion.
