OK, so I started with a traditional and it's sitting under my roof aging. I tried some and it's good but I can't touch it. So my second batch was a hydromel. I took a Costco 5lb plastic thing of honey, cut it into 3 one gallon jugs and decided to make some hydromel.

Well.

It's three weeks later. As an excuse, I read in a beer forum that anything under 10% ABV wouldn't last that long..... SOOOOOOO I decided to try a bottle of my hydromel.. then another... then another... then another... then another...

Coming to this site is the best thing I've done in years.......

I'm hammered and I can't think of any hobby that rewards you bettter than this.

;D

Thank you GotMead.

Friends don't let friends drink and post... ;D you already mentioned you were hammered. As I'm sure you will realize when you've sobered up.

But it is a wonderful hobby and this forum is full of awesome folks...
