Although the time and date are not set, there will be a Novice Mead Tasting like the one held last year at Pennsic War. House DeLondres will host the event in our camp. I would assume it will be a mid-afternoon event like last year and the "entry fee" will be a bottle or two of mead or wine you have made to share with everyone.

Start planning on what you want to have reviewed. We will likely have one or two of the Barons as well as Magnus from Long Island Meadery there to review and comment. Last year was a learning experience and I encourage you to take the chance to discuss brewing with some experts.

More details later,
Pewter

After bouncing around possible start times and dates, no more than a third of those expressing interest can attend on any given afternoon. So instead of having a formal Novice Tasting I would like to extend an invitation for each of you to stop by House DeLondres (right behind the solar showers) any time it is handy for you and I will fill your mug with some mead and taste and comment on whatever you bring. Look forward to seeing all of you at War!

Safe travels,
Pewter
