i recently added FermFast Dualfine to a 5 gal batch and it is clearing up wonderfully. However, i was planning on racking this on top of campden.. Reading the allergens section of the dualfine package, it stats it contains sulphites. I was wondering if adding campden tablets after using this is a bad idea or not?
 
I'm not familiar with your Dualfine. But I can tell you this. ABout half of what you add in the first addition becomes bound in the first day or so to particulates in your mead. Once it binds it is no longer useful. And then as time goes by the free SO2 becomes bound as well. Eventually, you have none left. It only works in it's free form. And many don't even add enough the first time. It's not something you add once and done. Because of this I would say you are fine.
