Hi folks.
I am so excited at getting back into brewing/mead making now that my 5 gallons of mead are fermenting.
I know it won't be finished before the holidays and am looking for something to enjoy sooner.
I did see the Quick Grape Mead recipe and that looks good.

Any others that are quick that people would share?

Thanks

Is that grape mead Barat's Concord Grape mead? That is good stuff, drinkable after 3-4 months, though it continues to improve dramatically with another 3-6 months aging. That's the quickest recipe I've ever done.

I like that first one.
It shows it's only for 1 gallon though.
If I did it for 5 gallons and adjusted honey etc...... would it still only take 3 weeks or does it only take 3 weeks due to the small batch size?

Technically, it should work for any size batch but I have only made 1 gallon batches. (Lots of em to get these results)Guaranteed for 1 gallon, so why not stick with one and make the 2 other recipes also to have variety. If you still chose to try 5 gal, make sure you use at least 2 5g packets of K1V yeast.
