But your meadmaking is giving a return. Any bottle you produce is a bottle you don't have to pay money for in a store!
 
Ah, but there's the crutch...I don't really drink. :) I maze because it's fun, I've got a flair for it, and because I can gift it to friends. My Gothi also prefers to use homebrewed mead in his ceremonies if at all possible, so it's a good contribution to my kindred. Of every bottle I've opened, I may get a few ounces myself. I prefer to give it out.
