That's incredible! Some people dream about finding a Cobra or a Bugatti in a barn but this would be my dream barn find! (maybe now that last AC Cobra will come my way)

Not so sure about some of the numbers etc, but what the hell, if they're making money at it, and have the requisite licensing, then why the hell on eh !
 
Nice find, although I'm guessing the alcohol laws there are a lot less restrictive than over here... I don't think you'd be able to sell something here that was made before you got your licensing and recipe approval and all that crap, plus in this province anyway, there's no way you'd be able to sell mead at farmer's markets.

Well.
Yes. It's a pain. It's expensive, but you can manufacture prior to licence acquisition.
I don't know about recipe approval, and if you have a vintner's licence, now you can sell at farm gate, cellar door or farmer's markets with no further licencing required.
So it is a little slacker, but they make up for it in tariffs.
(After your first $250k takings anyhow)
 
If I could sell 250k of mead with a 30% profit I would be happy to pay whatever crazy tariff on the revenue above it.
