If the goal is to spin heavier yarn then the wool is drafted a bit thicker than she demonstrates in the video.

That is very nice! Have you ever tried Celtic knots? I noticed an interesting book at B&N a few months ago and couldn't resist. The book is "75 Chinese, Celtic, and Ornamental Knots" by Laura Williams. I have have not attempted any patterns, need to make some time soon.
How interesting. No, I've never tried one. I have always thought of Celtic knots as designs, not as actual knots...
