Miriam, when you get it all done, put it together and send it over, and I'm creating an 'entertainment' section to put it in, along with David's cartoons (which will go up soon, I've got a bunch!). I told you, sister, anything you care to write, I'll put up for you.......

The autumn holy days extend over two weeks, from Rosh HaShannah to the end of Succot, so between preparations and celebrations time has been short. But it looks like winter is settling in and today will be rainy, so visitors have cancelled, the house will be quiet, and I will be able to travel in my mind to where a battle is about to be fought in the kingdom of St. Winston's.

James, I believe it was a commonly sung ditty in Shakespeare's time and not necessarily his own. Of course it's been attributed to Kit Marlow too. At any rate, it was in the air at around the year 1599 and sung in Shakespeare's "As You Like It". I tend to think it was Shakespeare's, but then I am very fond of him.

Excellent tale and very well written. You certainly have a gift m'lady!

As a pirate, I was looking forward to the pillaging and burning. Maybe next tale? *grin*

But anyway, I truly hate to see the tale end. It has been a joy to read every installment and await anxiously for the next one...
