So, made my first batch of mead and as I was shaking it up before pitching the yeast I noticed a sticker I had left on one of the orange peels. I tried to fish it out, but the neck of the gallon jug I used was to narrow. What impact will this have? Has anyone else done this?

Most likely there will be no impact. The glues they use are food-grade, and the inks are usually soy-based. The ink and glue might dissolve, leaving you with a floating or sunken sticker, but I wouldn't much worry about it, especially if you washed off the orange first.
