GF and I went out and picked 45lbs in just under 45mins, crazy how good the picking was. So now the question is what to do, what to do!?

My finest patch/attempt/failure last year this time was done with 1lb crappy walmart strawberries, no nutrients, store bought honey and 212 yeast.
Thought about doin a plain strawberry 2lbs per gallon, raw local honey and 71b or I have kv 1116. Figured for comparison sake would be interesting. Then I figured is ask you guys what other flavors go good with strawberries in your experience. So any flavor recommendations?

I would go with banana if you mean fruit additions, or maybe some hibiscus or mint if you mean herb additions

banana, maybe a little oak. I tossed a vanilla bean in mine once to make it fuller, couldn't taste the vanilla but it def added something to the mix.

Well ive started a basic 5 gallon batch. After initial ferm, im goin to break it down into 1 gallon jugs for aging. 2 of the 5 im goin to tinker with. One hibiscus and the other chocolate powder mix.

Wow... STRAWBERRY season here is in January-February! Those look delicious! I wonder how strawberry and coconut mix? I hope some of that crop makes it down to our supermarkets! Hibiscus and strawberry sounds like a home run! I'm sure you mean cocoa powder not chocolate powder right? Either way, I would love to taste both those concoctions. Don't forget to make some jam too!
