I'm assuming if the bad smells continue after a week or so that the batch is just trash.

It's a low ABV and is done with primary fermentation.
Thank you to Ed, Eric, Dan and others that have commented and invited the extra patience. The odor has almost entirely cleared. Once it clears and assuming that the taste is fine, I will be doing some back sweetening.
