Does anyone have recipes for mead with extracted tannin rather than using black tea or fruit peals? Also where could I get extracted tannin?

Ok dude,

You need to acquaint yourself with the search tool. There are TONS of recipes here with tannin additions rather than tea, and many, many links to LHBS (Local Home Brew Shops). Just click on that big green SEARCH link at the top of the forums here, and type in tannin. Then read to your heart's content.

Here's the one I use for my one stop shopping place:

http://www.morebeer.com

Use their search feature and look up tannin, then read up on each one. You'll find a wealth of information there.

Teach a man to fish and feed him for a day, give him an American Express Card and the world is his oyster.

Cheers,

Oskaar
