Leave it to Gordon Ramsey (Lately of Hell's Kitchen on the Fox Network) to set up a slap in the face for a wine producer he's not to high on.

See the link here for the whole story

Cheers,

Oskaar

I have no sympathy. If he was too wrung out to judge his own wine properly, then what the hell was he doing judging what he believed to be someone else's?

One thing's for sure, he won't be doing any more blind tastings in public for a while!

See, this is why I love blind tastings. Not to be used as a tool to ridicule someone, but when you can't see what you're drinking, you really have to be open and let your taste buds tell you what you don't know. The trick is listening to them.

cheers,

Oskaar

Already imaginging Rik ranting to Mike (the cool person), Neal, and Vyvyan.

/gratuitous Britcom reference

"Right, what's all this then?"

It still cracks me up about Ramsey doing this. I was watching Hell's Kitchen last night while trying to fall asleep. This guy is lucky someone hasn't carved him up into chum and fed him to the fishes! He is royally in their faces and very loud, it's hilarious. I'm sure they're all told to ham it up, and the customers have to be hand picked because he gives them sh!t as well. But as far as just plain funny goes, it's right up there!

Cheers,

Oskaar

Lesson learned here, think very carefully before opening ones mouth!

Cliff Richard making wine? I thought Cliff's Cheap Plonk referred to something else completely >:D

Perhaps he should have stuck to revamping old double-decker buses and going on vacations to Europe with a bunch of young women in an attempt to avert any speculation as to his sexual orientation! Still, Shaky is the "utter king of Rock and Roll"
