...is that you might end up spending most of it on honey. At least, that's what I did. Granted I didn't get a large refund this year, I still bought 41lbs of raw honey for under $200. Time to start making new batches!

you ask me that is a very good investment. I spent about $150 on honey and some other supplies as well.
I haven't filed my state return yet and I have my eye on some Meadowfoam honey. Think I need to send that in soon.

Yeah, I guess it's not so much a problem, I was just surprised at how willing I was to spend all that money! At least I can tell myself it was for a good cause.

Just move to the United States and get your Unearned Income Credit...don't get me started on that stuff.
On a happier note, my tooth wasn't broken, I dropped an old filling so it was only about 100 bucks instead of the 900 I was fearing! So maybe I am getting myself some honey...
I haven't even gotten all my tax receipts from my employer yet. I'm trying to believe that big companies aren't evil, but they're sure making it hard...
That sucks. I had to pay $20 just to file my state taxes, and got nothing back from the state...I guess that's what I get for living in California...
The funny thing is, if you don't file and get that $2 paid they'll spend a whole bunch more tracking you down and telling you to file.
Actually I think there's something right on the last page of the paper copy about amounts less than * dollars... it's just been a few years since I've had a paper copy in hand. And here, anyway, it takes more than 5 years not filing before they start sending you letters, in my experience, at any rate. Presuming they owe you money... I don't know how long it takes them to come after you here if you generally owe them...
