is it really true what they say about a maried couple drinking a lot of mead to increase the chances of having a son? i've heard this a few times, but thought it was folklore. is it something to do with the pH in the human bloodstream? are there any special kinds of mead to really increase the chances to have a son? just curious, since she said she will only have 2 kids, and we have a 2 month old daughter. thanks guys!

Studies have been done on animals that indicate that the body's pH affects the sex of the newborn, and that blood sugar levels affect pH. Drink more mead= higher blood sugar= more male children :) Maybe someone else knows more details about the studies done, but apparently it does have scientific basis.
