BLASPHEMY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh, what are we talking about?

Yeah, yeast test pitching. GFI (go for it) and let us know how your test pitching goes!

Cheers,

Oskaar

Between my own research and all th excellent postings I've found on here, I'm acquiring quite the laboratory. My wife thinks I've become a mad scientist.

You are not truly mad until you try to get her to let you name/re-name your first born Igor and insist that he wear a small pillow on the shoulder to simulate a hunch.

I don't think my wife is ever going to forgive me. ???

To be a true mad scientist you must meet the following critera:

Lock your wife in the basement
Genetically alter your first born into a hunchbacked mutant
Aspire to take over the world and remake it to suit your whimsey
Have a secret subterranean lair behind your fireplace
Insall a massive pipe organ in your secret lair and play it loudly and wildly

Optional criteria:
Have an uncontrollable nervouse tick in one of your eyes ala Chief Inspector Dreyfus
Wear a cape
Wear an iron gauntlet on your dominant arm

Oooh,

Tempting . . . . but, no. You'd have to at least have the cape and a hyena as a pet. Or, you could build a supercomputer and name it Prometheus . . . that would work.

Cheers,

Oskaaar

Man, being a mad scientist is hard work! I have the cape and a hyena, but the closest I can get to a supercomputer is my C64 but it's name is Jim. Oh well. Time to get my job as the gas station back.

Well, if I take and talk in a high pitched English accent, run around yelling "Narf!" all the time and acting like I'm nuts, can I be the plucky comic relief side-kick?

Narf! I fink so, Bwain! But this time you get to wear the tu-tu!

a cape and a hyena = mad scientist pre-requisite??? ok. now i have heard everything... anyhow.. I have ordered my yeasts for the test rehydrate/pitching(5 packets D-47 and 2 each K1 & 118 just to see how they rehydrate/pitch), and hopefully they should be here by friday or saturday, depending on the UPS dude. If you all want to hear some of the test pitching results, I will put them up here. dunno if that would be same thread or new topic.. anyhow, back to the regularly scheduled insanity around here.. boink...

That's called thread hijacking.

Hedgehog: Post your yeast tests in the Brewlog which is the appropriate place for them.

Thanks,

Oskaar

No, this is a person with both megalomania and malignant narcissm. To be a mad scientist, you only have to be certifiably mad.

Or maybe just a little angry.

OK, you have to have a track record of doing the same thing the same way and expecting different results, or, picked the Vikings to go all the way! LOL
