What is your criteria for the termination of primary fermentation of mead? Gravity? Period of fermentation? And if I don’t took gravity of purpose during even 6 weeks yet, should I wait more for it? or go to secondary fermentation? Is it an okay to primary fermentation for a long time?

No bubbles in the airlock...

(Just kidding)

If gravity stays constant for a week primary is done. You can leave it in primary for 6 weeks without problems.

What do you mean by terminate? Are you talking adding stabilizing agents? In your mind, what is the difference between primary and secondary?
