Nice Brewboy...

Non-mead/brew related, but I just bought a new tattoo...

Pics
Here, here, and here...

Kinda blurry, and it'll look better when healed, but still good :)

Mynx,

Very nice! Our wedding rings are tats, but not so pretty as that one you just got. I haven't got the extra $$$ for ink right now, so I'm jealous!

This afternoon, we closed, and took the keys, for our new house, does that count?

Congrats Brewboy!!! Everybody's buying Houses, oh well... my rent's dirt cheap so I've no complaints. Maybe in a few years.

Lol Oskaar...it's too much hassle to set the date right every bloody time we change the batteries...

We are very happy with the new home. (In my mind, I bought a brewery/meadery that has bedrooms attached!) It is a new construction ranch-style. We just need to add some paint to the walls, and it's ready to move in.

But there is a more important question for this thread: "What is your last SALE?"

My wife and I worked a little bass-ackwards. We found the perfect house and bought it before finding the perfect buyer for our current home. ("Perfect buyer" = their check doesn't bounce!)

So....if you know of anyone that is in the market for a big 103-year-old Victorian, in Green Bay Wisconsin...just point them at me! (My beer and mead cellar are coming with me to the new place!)

Angus,

We're still in the same general area. We found a nice home in the Town of Bellevue, a "suburb" of just east of Green Bay. We are pretty much at the border of where homes end, and farmland begins.

But it has a 3.5 stall garage...and I get the last .5 for my brewery/meadery! (My wife knows exactly how to get my cooperation...just let me have my room to "play beer and mead", and everything is fine!)

Just purchased my third 5 gallon glass carboy with cork and air trap, two dozen clear bottles and my second bag of corks. The local HBS owner is starting to smile when I walk in his store. Will need more bottles for the 3 gallons of classic mead that is clearing along with the 4 gallons of lemon mead and 4 gallons of lemon wine that is finishing up. My big purchase was setting up three more hives using three 3 lb packages of bees. Also just started a 4 gallon lemon/banana mead which is bubbling away happily ;D Need to redo my "meadery" and build some shelving in the hallway closet.

two more five gallon carboys and a five gallon bucket of clover honey. What's better than mead? MORE mead! Bwahahaaaaa!

wups, forgot about the bundle of 27 Grade A Madagascar vanilla beans for ten bucks and change, including shipping. Gotta love ebay.

Enolmatic filler with filter option and 1 micron filter element. Going to Kitchner Ontario tomorrow looking for a good deal on a few gallons of maple syrup and raw, unprocessed honey.

Hopefully the large Amish communitiy in that area will have some! ;D

Yeah Oskaar .... That's what I'm hoping for ..... I'm sure Sarah and Jacob will have LOTS of Macadamia Nut Honey in the back of their wagon!
