So are you saying use 5g for 1 gallon? I am taking it as use 5g and some more for 5 gallons.
Sorry for the confusion.

Is there a ratio for yeast to gallon?

Thanks

Uh...mmmm... yeaaaah! :drunken_smilie: LOL 5 grams in a one gallon batch is just fine and won't overload your must with too many cells. Make sure to rehydrate your yeast correctly before pitching.

5 Grams is also just fine for a five gallon batch as long as the brix is 26o or below, otherwise if the brix is above 26o add two 5 gram packets for a total of 10 grams. Again, make sure to rehydrate per manufacturer's specification which you can find on the Lallemand website. (http://www.lallemandwine.us)

Hope that helps,

Oskaar
