Hello,

Chouchenn (with one "n" or two) are meads made in Brittany. Water, honey and yeast. Some chouchenn are made with cider apple juice, mead and yeast like this (rare chouchenn):

I hope it's interesting for you to know the traditionnal meads in Brittany.

My favorite mead are :
- Chouchenn Aerouant Ruz, 5 year's old in oak barrel...
- The very rare Chouchenn du Guerand, made by a old man (80 year's old) in his farm (juice from apple cider and honey in oak barrel for 2-3 years)
- The chouchenn from Pluduno... also in oak barrel
