Well, I haven't actually used a bittering hops yet (I've only chucked them in post-boil) and I'm still pretty happy with what I've ended up with... I don't want to overdo a batch because I'll be the only one drinking it... and one beer a week will take a LONG time to get through a batch. I really like Fuggles's aroma and I've been happy with the times I've used Saaz, and I bought some Cascades because it seemed like another one I might enjoy. Since I've got a base recipe for something I enjoyed I will probably use that as a base and try a few experiments like hop-swapping. Or maybe even boiling a bit of it.
